Backerkit emails going out within the week

Hello all and sorry for the delays. The last weeks of the year were unusually hectic for some reason.

Good news, though. We received the books at the warehouse, which means the Backerkit emails will start showing up within the week. We are going to be sending these in batches, so please be patient as we make sure everything is working correctly.

Once you get the email, you'll be able to select your system options and any add-ons.

And I want to again thank all of you who made this possible and for your patience. The book looks really good, and I hope you enjoy it when you see it. 

Kickstarter Surveys on way and sharing a couple of covers

Hi all, we're wrapping up the Splinters of Faith Kickstarter with a final survey that was just sent out. This will let us formally end the Kickstarter campaign. You'll receive this initial survey followed soon by a different Backerkit survey for more detailed choices (5e vs. OSR, additional add-ons, etc.). 

And in case you missed it, we're expecting the Splinters of Faith books to arrive in port on Dec. 23. They'll head to the warehouse after that and then be sorted and shipped.   

Also, I wanted to share a couple of book covers that are part of the campaign. One is from the Cry Havoc: Dogs of Orcus booklet, while the other is the PDF art book. 

Dogs of Orcus includes details of various evildoers, some of their schemes, and a few new magic items. It was written by the wonderful Anthony Pryor. You can use these bad guys in any of your campaigns.    

The Art of Splinters of Faith is a PDF booklet that contains 40 pieces of art found in the main book that you can use to illustrate the adventure for your players. You read that right, 40 pieces of art. We'll likely have the PDF booklet for you to pull up on your phone, tablet, or computer, and then the high-resolution images themselves in four ZIP files.

We just received the shipping manifest for the Splinters of Faith books, and they are scheduled to arrive in port Dec. 23. Once we get them to our warehouse after that, we can start shipping them your way.

What that all means is that you should start looking for emails for our Kickstarter and Backerkit surveys soon so you can take care of any shipping details and purchase any additional add-ons.

First look at the books

Frog God Games just received review copies of Splinters of Faith from the printer. That means the books will start printing over the next few weeks and then will be shipped to us.  They'll be processed and packaged after that. We're putting together the final pieces now for that day but wanted to share some looks at what we had received.

This also means that you'll start seeing Backerkit information arriving in your emails soon. I'll update everyone again when those emails are pushed out to you.

Thanks again for your patience and for making this book a reality. We're in the home stretch now, and I can't wait for you all to get your copies. 

Splinters Update with Page Proofs!

Hi all, 

It's been a bit since any Splinters of Faith news, but we received pages from the printer and I wanted to share them with you. 

But first, make sure you check out our latest double feature just for Halloween: Fungus God from Outer Space and Heresy of Rot. Just 8 days left to get two adventures perfect for haunting your game table this October.  

Fungus God is a cosmic horror adventure set after a monstrous mushroom god slams into the world and infects the environment with its spores. Can your heroes right the Fungus God's mind and restore balance to the land? 

Heresy of Rot lands the characters in a village being picked off one by one by evil cultists and more supernatural foes. Will the adventurers brave the haunted manse and the lonely grave of Doctor Coffin? Or will they lose their heads against the mysterious horseman who haunts the roads?

On to Splinters! 

The Splinters of Faith proofs have been approved and sent back to the press. I'll update you when I hear more about how the press run is going, but so far everything is on track. 

This first photo shows a stack of the page folios (the 16-page sections of the book that are then bound together in the bigger book). You can also see the color endsheet map, the front and back cover of the book, and the proof of the collector's edition cover (the actual collector's edition cover is black with gold stamping on it, as you can see in the photo after this one). 

This next photo shows the stacked folio page proofs side by side with City of Brass. The Splinters pages are a little taller right now, but they will get pressed and bound tighter in the book. City of Brass is 440 pages, and the 5e Splinters of Faith comes in around 520, so it will be a little thicker. 

 And finally, a selection of two-page spreads from throughout the book. I grabbed all these randomly, but they include some of the jungle wandering monster tables at the beginning of the book, three spreads from different adventures, the start of the magic items chapter, and the start of the M's in the creature appendix.
